Slovakia must be strong, especially if Europe weakens and begins to lag behind the world more and more. This was stated by the leader of Hlasu-SD and Minister of the Interior Matúš Šutaj Eštok in his New Year’s speech. He declared that Hlas-SD wants to continue working for the benefit of Slovakia in 2025. He believes that the opposition will not defame Slovakia abroad.
“The situation in the world, but also in Europe, gives an idea of the complexity of the crises that await us. The solutions will not be easy. But I want to promise you one thing – we won’t leave you alone. The voice will continue to be a strong and social voice of all of you,” he said in a video on the social network.
Šutaj Eštok declared that in Hlas-SD they will do everything so that at the end of 2025 Slovakia continues to be proud, self-righteous, self-confident and sovereign in its thoughts, actions and actions. He hopes that the opposition will not continue to dishonor the Slovak Republic abroad and will not slander him. “We can have a different opinion on politics and enforcement, but we must never endanger Slovakia,” he said.
He also talked about the fact that the current government coalition has no political competition. He criticized the former governments of Igor Matovič, Eduard Heger and Ľudovít Ódor. “The vote remains for you a guarantee of the welfare state, a place in which, first of all, its own residents, that is, all of you, must live well. Your interests must remain superior to all others and to anyone who would like to replace them with foreign interests,” he added.
