Brava Energia () obtained authorization from the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP) to start production through the platform ship (FPSO) Atlanta, which has the capacity to produce up to 50 thousand barrels of oil per day, treat 140 thousand barrels of water per day and store up to 1.6 million barrels of oil. According to the company, on Tuesday (31), the first oil was extracted from the definitive system.
With this, Brava became the first independent oil and natural gas company in the country to develop a production system in deep waters from its initial phase, within the expected budget and deadlines established for drilling wells, installing initial equipment and FPSO works.
In a relevant fact sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), production begins from wells 6H and 7H, which are in stabilization, while the company continues with the connection of the four remaining wells 2H, 3H, 4H, 5H .
The expected completion date is the second quarter of 2025.
