Will André Jardine coach Botafogo?

According to journalist Alejandro Orvañanos, from the Mexican portal “Claro Sports”, André Jardine refused Botafogo’s proposal and chose to stay at América-MEX. Jardine has a contract with the club until the end of 2027 and wants to stay in the country to try for a fourth consecutive national championship, which would be unprecedented in the country.

Therefore, John Textor should focus on other names on the market for the vacancy left by Artur Jorge. Botafogo makes its season debut next Saturday (11), at 4pm, against Maricá, for Carioca.
