If you get a role in a project in which Paul Mescal is involved, go to rehearsals or filming perfectly prepared. The actor admitted that he is annoyed by people who waste his time and are not ready. He considers them to be lazy beings who only make his life more difficult.

When asked what angers him the most, he answered W magazine as follows: “Laziness. I hate people who waste time, people who are not ready. And I’m not just talking about the work context.” Paul starred in the historical action drama Gladiator II, directed by Ridley Scott. The preparation for the role was difficult, although critics did not appreciate the efforts he made. The film received only lukewarm reviews.

“I loved the training! I’m not going to be an actor who says, ‘It was torture.’ Maybe because I’m a bit of a masochist. But I like to finish work and feel physically tired. Not in the sense of mental overload, because that happens to you at work anyway, but that feeling of physical exertion and the need for sleep at the end of the dayI haven’t experienced this specific kind of fatigue with other films,” admitted the native of Ireland.
