A pregnant green anaconda snake ejected around 40 babies from its belly after being run over on a highway. The case took place on MT-338, in Porto dos Gaúchos. The impact killed the snake, about five meters long, and its offspring.
Fisherman Ederson Negri recorded the incident last Monday (6). He showed the anaconda next to the cubs. In the recording it is possible to see the animals crushed and lifeless in the middle of the highway. The video went viral on social media. No one was injured in the incident.

She lives for around 30 years and in each pregnancy, which lasts around seven months, she can produce 20 to 40 offspring, according to information from the São Paulo Aquarium.
