A man was arrested this morning in Viana de Cega (2,300 inhabitants) for the murder of a 36-year-old man who was the current romantic partner of his ex-partner. The subdelegate of the Government in Valladolid, Jacinto Canales, has reported that the arrested man sneaked into the home of the victim and the woman in a way that is still unknown and without the deceased being able to defend himself, he began to fatally stab him on multiple occasions until he finished with his life. The Civil Guard is investigating how the individual was able to access the apartment in Viana de Cega where the man and his partner lived, since there are no signs of violent entry into the property, which belongs to a building where several relatives of the attacker’s ex-partner live.
