Carnival is a time when various types of balls and parties are organized. Therefore, it is worth adapting your styling to the occasion and finishing it with carnival makeup. Carnival is inextricably associated with glitter. So if we want to shine at the party, then it’s worth it choose makeup in which glitter shadows will play the main role. We start preparing it by applying a base and covering foundation to the skin. If necessary, we mask imperfections with concealer.
Fix the whole thing with powderchoosing one that has a natural shine. It is worth enriching your makeup with blush and bronzer, which will make your face look more vibrant. We highlight the eyebrows with a thin pencil and fix them with soap. Next we move on to eye makeup. It is worth matching the color of eye shadow to our eyes.
Therefore, in the case of:
- blue ones eyes – we choose silver, copper or gold cosmetics,
- green ones eyes – we paint them with brown, purple or gold eye shadows,
- grey eyes – we use purple, gold or blue cosmetics,
- beer eyes – we choose green, purple or navy blue shadows.
However, remember to buy proven eye shadows that will not fall out or roll. We can additionally take care of it, by applying a base to our eyelids, thanks to which the cosmetic will last longer and look better.
However, when it comes to lips, in the case of strongly emphasized eyes, let’s avoid expressive lipsticks. A delicate lip gloss will work best as it adds class and a slight shine.

Another more classic carnival makeup option is smokey eyes. The first step is to apply a base and mattifying foundation. Then we apply the illuminating concealer in the outer corners of the eyes. However, be careful not to use too much product, as it could be visible in creases and wrinkles.
Then we set the foundation with transparent face powder. We also add some bronzer and blush to the cheekbones. The next step is to place a light base shadow on the upper eyelid. After spreading it, carefully outline the waterline and upper eyelid with a black pencil.
Then we apply black eye shadow in layers so that its borders are well blurred. This effect can be achieved by using another light shadow. We can apply some light, shiny shadow in the inner corner of the mouth to illuminate the eye.
Finally, we apply mascara or add artificial eyelashes. A good idea and a new trend is to slightly extend the line and gluing tiny zircons or pearls on it, which will add shine and attract many attention.
As with the previous carnival makeup, we don’t use expressive ones because we strongly emphasized our eyes. It is best to use nude lipstick or peachy lipstick.
