Amazon announces departure of head of the company’s operations in Brazil

announced the departure of Daniel Mazini, his country manager not Brazil.

He had worked at the company since 2009, when he joined the retailer’s UK operations.

After holding positions in London and Seattle, Mazini took over Amazon’s book business in Brazil and became the head of the Brazilian operation in 2019.

After an 11-month period at fintech Neon, he returned to Amazon to take on the role of country manager em 2021.

According to the website Brazil JournalMazini’s departure was communicated to the retailer’s employees in Brazil this Monday (20).

A replacement has not yet been announced.
