You can whiten a yellowed windowsill with hydrogen peroxide

You can use, for example, hydrogen peroxide to clean the windowsill. Just apply it on a sponge and wipe the surface. Leave it on for a few minutes and then wipe the windowsill with a damp cloth. In addition to yellow stains, peroxide also removes grease.

Baking soda is a wonder for everything

Baking soda surely each of us has it at hand at home. In addition to baking, use it to clean dirt from the windowsill. Apply baking soda to the stained surface and then rub it into the surface with a cloth soaked in vinegar. Leave this mixture on for a quarter of an hour and then wipe the surface with a clean cloth.

Oxygen powder will help

Oxygen powder or gel you can buy it at any drugstore. Dilute a small amount with water and apply the foam to the window sill. Leave on for 15-30 minutes (depending on the degree of contamination), rinse with water and finally wipe dry.

How to clean a windowsill without chemicals? Bring a lemon into the fray. Citric acid will break down the stains and the windowsill will shine again. For a greater effect, you can pour a pinch of salt into the lemon – this will increase its roughness and remove dried spots. After 10 minutes of exposure, wipe off the juice with a cloth moistened with clean water.

Discover the magic sponge

magic sponge (melamine foam) is a great choice for cleaning a white windowsill. Just moisten it with water and gently rub the surface of the windowsill. The sponge can deal with stubborn dirt, fingerprints and stains from flower pots.

Clean the white window sill with toothpaste

Remove any dirt or debris from the windowsill. Then mix in a small bowl 1 tablespoon of toothpaste with 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Add a small amount of hydrogen peroxide to increase the whitening effect.

Using a soft cloth or sponge, apply the resulting mixture to stains or yellowed areas on the plastic windowsill. Gently rub the toothpaste mixture on the affected areas in a circular motion. Finally, rinse the window sill with clean water to remove any residue and wipe it with a clean, dry cloth.
