PSG Academy Barra will have three pitches, an exchange program and male, female and mixed classes
The small talents of football from Salvador have found a new home – the Paris Saint-Germain Academy has arrived at Shopping Barra. The main objective of the school, called PSG Academy Barra, is to offer sports training that inspires, develops and improves the skills of young players within the French club’s official football school in Brazil. >
Located on the mall’s terrace, it will not only help with the physical aspect, but will also take care of the athletes’ cognitive development and educational values. There, young people aged 4 to 19 will be able to train along Parisian lines, as stated by PSG Academy Brasil vice-president and Northeast director François Marot: “Whatever the level, each athlete receives personalized attention that takes into account individual rhythm and needs. ”.>
The deputy also highlights the importance of having a unit in the Barra region to expand access to quality sport, which is very elite in Bahia’s grassroots schools. >
Athletes from the Barra unit will have access to three society fields with new synthetic grass, with two coaches available on each one. In addition, the unit will have an exchange office for children who want to study abroad, and a multipurpose space with barbecue grills that can even be rented for events.>
There, the classes will be male, female and mixed, and the entire structure can be seen by children and their parents on Training Day, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm this Saturday (25).>
With units in more than 50 countries, the PSG Academy is an initiative that focuses on the foundations of world football, training and seeking new athletes. In Brazil, the network already has around 15 thousand students training in 52 different units. Of these, almost 3 thousand are in the nine northeastern units. >
