Vale () announced this Thursday that it has begun a “strategic review” of the operations of its subsidiary Vale Base Metals in Canada, which includes a possible sale of exploration and mining assets.
The operations evaluated are in Thompson, in the Canadian province of Manitoba.
The company stated that the evaluation is expected to be completed in the second half of this year.
