Churros This is a delicacy that both children and adults eat in Spain. The cake is only a few simple and cheap ingredients, like our donuts and faworki, are fried in deep fat. Before you start preparing the churros, be sure to get a confectionery sleeve with a special spoke, thanks to which longitudinal donuts will have characteristic wavy edges. They go out delicious, soft inside, slightly crunchy outside.
You will need: to prepare Spanish Churros:
- 500 ml of water,
- 300 g of wheat flour,
- 100 g of fine white sugar,
- a pinch of salt,
- butter for greased paper,
- Rapeseed oil for frying.
Additionally:
- Small white sugar for coating.
You can eat ready churros yourself. They also taste great with chocolate sauceall you have to do is get milk or cream in a saucepan and combine it with your favorite chocolate, bitter, milk and white. You can also simply dissolve a few chocolate cubes in a water bath.
Boil water and salt in a pot. When it starts to boil, the set of the pot from the heat and pour the flour. Mix the dough with a mixer until it becomes smooth and begins to move away from the walls of the pot. Set aside for about 10 minutes to cool.
Prepare a baking sheet, lubricate it with butter and put it in the fridge for a while to harde. Transfer the dough to the spokes with a star-shaped tip and squeeze portions of the dough 8-10 cm long onto the chilled paper. Cut off the ends with a knife. Prepared churros carefully separate from paper.
Heat the oil in a pot to 180 ° C. Fry churros in batches for about 3 minutes on each side, until they become golden and crunchy. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel. When the churros cool down slightly, coat them in fine sugar.
