Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire that involved an Airbus plane belonging to South Korean carrier Air Busan, South Korean officials said on Wednesday (29).
At Gimhae International Airport in the south of the country, while preparing to take off for Hong Kong, fire officials said.
All 169 passengers and seven crew landing from the aircraft, seven had minor injuries and were sent to the hospital, the fire officials in Busan said.
The Fire Department was warned about just before 10:30 pm (local time), he said.
Seoul’s resident You Ji-sook said she was “nervous and worried” after the plane’s fire incident in Busan, adding that she is reluctant to fly.
“If you think about it, it’s really very bad. It only hurts me how this happens at the beginning of the Lunar New Year. I think everyone should be careful and there should be adequate safety checks for flights. So, I want the government to be careful about this so that we don’t have more accidents like this ”
