Four people are hospitalized as a result of the fight on Saturday (1st) between fans of Santa Cruz and Sport through the streets of Recife, hours before the teams of the Pernambuco Championship.
The Restoration Hospital received 12 injured fans, of which 4 remain hospitalized on Sunday (2), with stable health.
One of them is João Victor Soares, member of an organized Sport. Viviane Eugênica, the fan of the fan, published on social networks that he is hospitalized in the ICU of the unit and presented improvements.
Images of the widespread fight spread throughout social networks and shocked the violence.
In one of the shared videos, a man is beaten by a group of men, some of them with Santa Cruz shirts. He is then dragged by a street and has his clothes torn away, amid aggressions with punches, kicks and stabbing.
Until, the victim suffers sexual violence by several men who use objects similar to iron bars while still beaten in the head. The case was one of the most talked about issues of X, former Twitter.
Pernambuco governor Raquel Lyra (PSDB) determined that the next five games of the two teams be played without the presence of fans.
“What we saw in the streets of Recife today is unacceptable, intolerable. People who claim to be fans have committed true criminal acts, violence, aggression. Feeling of terrorism in our city,” said the governor in a video published on her social networks.
The determination also requires the biometric registration of fans for access to the stadium and reports with safety plan for the return of the fans of both teams to the stadium.
“The ministry reinforces the need for rigorous investigation and the accountability of all involved. We also advocate coordinated actions among public authorities, clubs, federations and fans to prevent episodes of violence,” the Ministry of Sport said in a statement.
Sport lamented the violence of fans, but also said it against the ban on the stands in the stands.
“The measure taken only penalizes true fans, while those responsible for criminal acts continue unpunished, as well as harming a football chain, where so many families depend on the games to have their family income, growing even more social vulnerability,” he said the club.
Sport also stated that “it will take all appropriate measures to guarantee their rights, including using the judiciary.”
Santa Cruz has made itself “available to authorities and other clubs to find solutions and ban football violence in Pernambuco.”
