The victim was transported to the hospital of São José with a deep cut in the face and is hospitalized to await surgical intervention.
PSP today detained in Lisbon a man suspected of stealing two golden wires and stabbing a tourist during dawn in the Sao Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint, that force announced.
In a statement, the PSP Lisbon Metropolitan Command explains that the 24 -year -old man is suspected of stealing two golden wires to a foreign citizen, who stabbed his face with a starting bottle at 2:25 of the muds.
“After the PSP collected the characteristics of the suspect with three witnesses and one of them preserved the bottle that the suspect used, efforts were moved to intercep the perpetrator,” the statement said.
The suspect was eventually arrested minutes later in the Rossio area, still in possession of the stolen goods.
“The PSP will present the detainee with the competent judicial authority, with a view to being heard in the first judicial interrogation of arrested defendant,” adds the Lisbon Metropolitan Command.
