The artist lives modestly and since she is strapped to a bed and a wheelchair, her older son Juraj takes care of her. His father is the famous conductor Juraj Velčovský († 76), who died in December 2012.

Later, Juraj Velčovský founded his own orchestra, with which almost all countries of the then capitalist Western Europe traveled.
Although the legendary singer has achieved success on the music scene, she was accompanied by several tragedies in her family life. She was 21 when her father was killed in the car she bought him. In 2001, her younger son Peter received a stroke in his sleep. He died in 2011, he was in a coma for many years. A year after his death was followed by the death of her husband.
