No improvement was presented by her image according to the report by “International Transparency”. Our country remained in the 59th place with its rating below the base.

Greece is in the same position as Jordan, Namibia and Slovakia, and over last year by Vanuatu. On the contrary, Cyprus rose to 46th with its rating rising compared to last year (from 53 to 56). Of course, we also look forward to the details of the report for the reasons why our country remains in this position.

At the top for the seventh consecutive year is Denmark which in a total of 100 points is 90. However, what is reflected in the report is that more than two -thirds of countries scored below 50/100 in the latest corruption perception of international transparency , published today.

The global average has stuck in sad 43, and even countries with traditional high performance, such as Sweden (81) and Norway (80), recorded their lowest score.

Another conclusion is the poor performance of most European countries that are close to or below the base. It is noteworthy that large countries such as Spain and Italy are just above Greece but both have a decline in their performance.
