The sculpture “The Thinker of Albufeira”, by sculptor Carlos de Oliveira Correia, was inaugurated last February 21, Friday. Inspired by the iconic work “The Thinker”, by French sculptor Auguste Rodin, the play is installed in the southern part of Avenida Sá Carneiro, in Albufeira.
The new artistic installation is accessible to the entire population and is part of a set of interventions promoted by, with the objective of valuing public space and fostering urban art in the city.
With this initiative, the Parish Council continues its commitment to cultural dynamization, enriching the urban landscape with contemporary artistic expressions.
