The ex -partner of José Luis Ábalos has discouraged this Thursday in the Supreme Court to the former Minister of Transportation of the payment of the floor in which she lived for more than two years and the positions she held in two public companies dependent on that department (Tragsatec and INECO). Jessica R. has appeared as a witness to Judge Leopoldo Puente, who investigates Ábalos. Sources of the case point out that the woman has assured that she did not know who paid the floor located in Plaza de España in Madrid, but that she entered there to live through the former minister’s advisor, Koldo García. Regarding his positions in public companies, he has admitted, according to these sources, that although he had a contract in the two he never really worked on them.
The former minister’s relationship with Jessica R. is part of the investigation because UCO reports revealed that the plot paid the rent of her floor in the Plaza de España in Madrid. The instructed so far indicates that of the 88,000 euros that cost the rental of the property, most of them assumed it in the plot of hydrocarbons and another society in the name of the wife of this, while Koldo García, his brother Joseba and even his daughter, who at that time was a year. The researchers have also focused on Jessica R. was hired in two public companies dependent on the ministry that directed Ábalos.
Jessica R. has reached the visibly affected Supreme and has also been during his statement, according to sources in the case, which has led the instructor to authorize that his departure from the court was done by a door other than the usual to avoid the dozens of cameras who were waiting for her. The testimony of the woman coincides in part with what was declared before the judge by Ábalos and Koldo García. The first admitted to having had a romantic relationship with Jessica R., but denied having something to do with the rental of his floor and assured that who managed the rent was his former advisor. Escolano was also summoned this Thursday as a witness in the Supreme, but the appointment has been suspended, but the judge plans to take a statement to three businessmen who allegedly signed contracts with the plot investigated.
