
The Civil Guard of Calpe (Alicante) investigates the death of a four -year -old girl who rushed from the balcony of her house, located on a fifth floor, at dawn on Sunday, September 7. According to sources from the Armed Institute, the child “accidentally fell” and was transferred to the Doctor Balmis hospital in Alicante, where she died five days later.
Calpe City Council sources confirm that the accident occurred around five in the morning. The girl “was being cared for by a 14 -year -old relative,” since parents “were not in the house” at that time. According to the local newspaper Informationwho has advanced the news, the teenager was the cousin of the deceased and was also in charge of another minor, of one year. Apparently, according to the same medium, the girl climbed to the balcony railing, lost her balance and fell on a vehicle parked on the Diputación Avenue of the Alicante municipality.
The girl, who was transferred by the parents to a Calpe Health Center, was referred to the Alicante Hospital, where she finally could not recover from the wounds caused by the fall. The Calpe Judicial Police team investigates the facts, “whose proceedings will be transferred to the Court of Instruction 2 of Dénia,” said Civil Guard sources.
