Applications for exhibitors, activities and shows of the Algarve 2025 Favan of the Favan – Environment and Vegan Fair are now open. The event, which will take place from September 19 to 21 at Loulé Municipal Park, is affirmed as the largest vegan and sustainable fair in Portugal and returns to its 6th edition.
Organized by Benma-Association for Social, Environmental and Animal Welfare, with the support of the Loulé City Council, Fava brings together 120 exhibitors and presents a diverse program, with more than 50 free activities and shows for all ages.
Entrepreneurs, artisans, producers, brands and associations that promote an ecological, conscious and compassionate lifestyle can submit their candidacy to integrate the fair. Registration is also open for workshops, lectures, wellness and nutrition classes, music shows, dance and street theater, among other proposals aligned with the values of the event.
Fava 2025 is back in the European Mobility Week program of the municipality of Loulé and will feature initiatives that encourage the use of micromobility and public transport and shared, reinforcing their commitment to a more ecological and inclusive future.
On the official website, all information on the conditions of participation and procedures for submission of applications is available for both exhibitors and for activities and shows. The organization warns that the number of vacancies is limited, with only 120 places available to exhibitors, and that the selection will be made in order of arrival and according to criteria of sustainability, relevance and creativity. For activities and shows, originality and impact on promoting a sustainable lifestyle will be determining factors in choosing proposals.
In the latest edition, the Vegan Cosmetic Mistatic Brand was distinguished with the exhibitor award of the year, standing out for its innovation and commitment to sustainability in the natural cosmetics sector and vegan. The company will be present again at Fava 2025, presenting exclusive news and defending the title won.
Created in 2018, Fava became a reference event in the promotion of animal, human and environmental welfare, with the support of the Loulé City Council. The fair has been consolidating itself as a meeting point for brands, projects and initiatives that promote a more sustainable and ethical lifestyle.
The 2024 edition was the largest ever, registering: 11,000 square meters of occupied room, 109 exhibitors, including tears, artisans, producers and innovative projects; 58 free activities and shows, with proposals for all ages, 3,850 plant-based meals served and 98% of participants to say they want to return in 2025.
With the 2025 edition, the organization aims to overcome these numbers and continue to inspire a more conscious and sustainable lifestyle.
