St. Pölten – The previous health councilor Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig (SPÖ) was considered an intermediary between the SPÖ and ÖVP in Lower Austria. The relationship between state party leader Sven Hergovich (SPÖ) and Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner (ÖVP) has been broken up since the failed black and red negotiations two years ago. Now Königsberger-Ludwig is moving to the Ministry of Social Affairs as State Secretary and thus leaving the state government.
