Public information and transparency, with quick and easy access, gathered in a single tool. The Government of Rio de Janeiro has created the Open Data Portal, a channel that will gather public service information offered by the state in a single platform.
Data will be available from various state bodies and secretariats, such as the ISP (Institute of Public Security), FIA-RJ (Foundation for Childhood and Adolescence), as well as information from various areas, such as education, health, among others. The tool was developed in partnership by CGE-RJ (State Comptroller General), State Secretariat for Digital Transformation and Proderj.
According to the governor (PL-RJ), the platform is a breakthrough in the state’s commitment to transparency and the modernization of public management.
“The Open Data Portal reinforces our responsibility for transparency and innovation in public administration. We are making available to society important information throughout the state for the construction of more efficient and affordable public policies ”said the governor.
In addition to gathering the data in a single environment, and in real time, the portal allows files to be extracted and worked freely.
