A 29-year-old man lost his life in a traffic accident in the Topoľčany district. The accident happened on Monday afternoon in the cadastral area of Kuzmice, the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Nitra informed.
The driver of the Volkswagen Golf came out of the road for precisely unidentified reasons and stumbled into a tree. He suffered injuries in the accident, which he succumbed to on the spot.
Any consumption of alcoholic beverages in the driver will be detected at autopsy. Circumstances, fault rate and the exact cause of the accident are subject to investigation.
