Roman Malatinec, Vice -President of the Banská Bystrica Self -Governing Region (BBSK) for Culture, resigned on Monday. He finished in his post during the March meeting of the Regional Council in the Blue Stone in the Great City district. The chairwoman of the Club Voice of the Region Božena Kováčová comes to his place.
Malatinec said he wants to continue as a deputy in the club’s voice of the region. He also wants to support the chairman of the BBSK Ondrej Lunter to work, as it sounds in the regional program statement.
He noted that the Voice-SD party nominated for the post of Vice-President BBSK Kováčová. The region will represent in the field of social affairs, Malatinec will replace Lunter in the field of culture. Kováčová, during the meeting of the Regional Parliament, summed up for thanks for confidence and believes that they will not disappoint people.
The political affiliation of Malatinec has become the main reason for the planned appeal as Vice -Chairman of the BBSK. “I appreciate that there is no other reason in the proposal and it is just about the political nomination of the voice I was a member, and this place belongs to them,”emphasized. However, he gave up the post before the council dismissed him.
Malatinec was one of the four Vice -Presidents of the BBSK whose Nominated individual parliamentary clubs and were approved by the Regional Parliament on the proposal of Lunter. He is also a member of the National Council. He stepped out of the Voice-SD Group and left the party. At present, the National Coalition/Independent Candidates are a member of the Presidency of the non -parliamentary party and its vice -chairman for culture, regional development and self -government.
The coalition agreement and program announcement “to work” at the end of 2022 was signed by the chairman of the club’s independent Tomáš Abel, the chairman of the club with heart in the region (KDH – SaS – independent) Maroš Okopal, chairwoman of the Club Voice of Kováčová, Chairman of the ALANIA -SZÖVETEG club Péter CSÚSZ and Chairman of the BBSK Lunter.
