Acrean artist Camila Head, known on social networks for her cultural work, denounced an episode of violence and intolerance suffered on Wednesday afternoon, March 12, 2025, being expelled from an application driver 99.
In a story published on his Instagram profile (@camilacabeca), Camila reported that, accompanied by her 69 -year -old friend Fatima, faced a driver who refused to lower the volume of a deafening religious audio while she was trying to record a message to a friend.
Tired after a day at work, the artist asked for adjustments, but the driver reacted with hostility, culminating in the expulsion of the two women at a busy point near the waterfall, on August 6, in Rio Branco.

The incident began when Camila, who could not access the application because she was sending a message, asked the driver to reduce the sound, but he got angry. Despite the attempt to record the audio, the driver, upon noticing the situation, ordered them to come down, ignoring the age and condition of Fatima.
“He just kicked us out of the car, I’m in shock,” said Camila, noting that the luck was not to have bags or equipment, which could have complicated the situation even more. The artist pointed to the driver’s intolerance as an act of violence, questioning the security offered by 99, especially compared to Uber, which she used to return home.
Camila has already made the formal complaint to 99 and plans to resort to the Ombudsman, expressing distrust in the resolution of the case.
She criticized the application’s lack of security, suggesting that the driver’s identity may have been changed, as the photo in the app did not seem to match the driver. The report exposes concerns about the protection of users, especially women, and raises debates about the responsibility of application transport companies in the face of cases of intolerance and humiliation. The artist concluded her outburst asking for more respect and security in the use of these services.
