Technical inspections have pointed out that the site faces problems such as compromised structure, failures in waste disposal and absence of effective policies for population control. Reports of the Technical Support Center (NAT) showed that the situation poses risks to public health and fails to comply with sanitary standards.

The MPAC also highlighted the lack of initiatives by the government to contain the increase in the population of homeless dogs. Data from the Municipal Health Secretariat show significant growth of these animals on public roads, raising sanitary and environmental risks.
