The governor of Pernambuco, Raquel Lyra, thanked President Kassab and everyone who opened the doors for the Social Democratic Party (PSD). She highlighted the opportunity to be in a party that “It comes growing”.
Raquel Lyra officialized, on the night of last Monday (10), the affiliation to the PSD, after nine years in the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB).
“I thank President Kassab very much and all those who, along with him, opened the doors of the party so that we could, after a maturity process, a political construction that lasts about three years, could be within the PSD,” he said.
Also according to Raquel, this affiliation brings the “opportunity to be in a party that has been growing And that also needs our contribution. ”
The governor said she reaches the new party “to add and learn.” She added that the PSD “gives us a lot of perspective, to be able to make buildings and, in relation to Pernambuco, look to the Northeast, look at our states and strengthen ourselves as management.”
PSDB President Marconi Perillo was mentioned by Raquel Lyra as a “priority partner.”
“I also thank PSDB too, I spent 10 years in the party. He [Marconi Perillo] It is still in our political base in Pernambuco, I hope that it can continue to be as a priority partner, ”he said.
