Mini tarts with vegetables and delicate poultry This is a reliable snack, for every party. You will make the bottom of a fragile butter cake. Use chicken breast for stuffing, which will harmonize with vegetables – peas, peppers and onions. The culmination of the appetizer is the addition of yellow cheese. You can serve tartlets hot or at room temperature. Serve their favorite DIP, e.g. tomato or cream-herb.

From the ingredients below, receive about 15-20 tartlets. It all depends on the size of the molds.

Cake ingredients:

  • 300 g of wheat flour,
  • 200 g of cold butter,
  • 2 yolks,
  • 1 tablespoon of sour cream,
  • ½ teaspoon salt.

Ingredients for stuffing:

  • 1 single chicken breast fillet (about 300 g),
  • 150 g of green peas (frozen),
  • 1 onion,
  • ½ red pepper,
  • 150 g of cheese,
  • 125 ml of poultry broth,
  • ½ teaspoon chicken spices,
  • 1 teaspoon of Provencal herbs,
  • salt, freshly ground pepper (to taste),
  • 2 tablespoons of clarified butter,
  • A handful of fresh basil leaves (for decoration).

Combine the flour, salt and diced butter in a bowl. Knead your fingers on thick crumble. Add yolks and cream to the bowl. Make all ingredients for a smooth dough. Form a ball from it, wrap it with cling film and put in the fridge for half an hour.

Clean meat from membranes and chop finely. Season with chicken spice. Peel and chop the onion. Cut the peppers into cubes. Fry vegetables in clarified butter. After a few minutes, add meat to the pan. Fry briefly, stirring constantly. Pour the hot broth into the pan. Add thawed peas. Simmer under cover until the broth evaporates completely. Season with salt, pepper and Provencal herbs.

The chilled dough divide into small portions and put it in tartlets with it (you need about 15-20 such molds – depending on their size). Put the dough in molds with a fork. Arrange the molds on the baking tray. Put the oven preheated to 180 ° C for 10 minutes. Fill the baked grapes with stuffing. Sprinkle with grated grater with thick mesh cheese. Put in the oven for 10 minutes. Decorate with basil leaves before serving.
