Acre received, on the morning of Thursday, 20, a liver donated to transplantation. The agency was transported from Porto Velho (RO) to Rio Branco with the support of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), ensuring speed and safety in travel.
The donation was directed to the state through the National Transplant Center, according to the National Waiting List. After arriving at Rio Branco International Airport, the State Department of Health (Sesacre) organized the logistics for immediate transport to the Acre Hospital Foundation (Fundhacre), where the medical team performed the procedure.
