Vienna/Amman/Damascus – Austria’s Interior Minister Gerhard Karner (ÖVP) broke his trip to Syria planned for Thursday with his German counterpart Nancy Faeser (SPD) for concrete warnings. “The possible threat to the delegations and the security forces used was not responsible,” said the Interior Ministry on Thursday in the morning. The decision was made together by both ministries.
