(Reuters)-Platform X, owned by Elon Musk, is positioned to record its first year of growth in advertising revenue since its acquisition by the billionaire in 2022, according to data from the emarketer research company this Wednesday.

US ad revenue in the US should grow 17.5%by 2025 to $ 1.31 billion, while global ad sales are expected to increase 16.5%to $ 2.26 billion, according to Emarketer.

“Part of this year’s growth is also being driven by fear. Many advertisers may consider the X expenses as the cost of doing business in order to mitigate possible legal or financial repercussions,” said Jasmine Enberg, chief analyst at Emarketer.

Enberg said the X has been able to attract small and medium -sized companies, with which the company historically faces difficulties.
