A new species of Dinosaur Iguanodontian, which inhabited Portugal almost 150 million years ago, was discovered by researchers from the Faculty of Science and Technology at the New University of Lisbon.

The study allowed to identify a copy, the Shn.jjs.015deposited in the Society of Natural History of Torres Vedras, as a herbivorous dinosaur of the Iguanodontian group, which also stands out for its dimensions, having a detailed exam confirmed that “does not correspond to any previously identified species.”
