Youtuber and influencer Felipe Neto said on Thursday, 3, who is a presidential candidate in 2026. In a video published on social networks, he says he is an ideal name to head the executive for having a “huge desire to be a guardian of truth” and to master the use of social networks.
“This is not a gesture of vanity, because I built a financial legacy and communication that already feeds my stomach and ego for the rest of my life. I want to be president because I, although I am a man outside politics, I have by my side the greatest weapon of our time, the use of networks,” said Neto, who is not affiliated with political party.
Youtuber also said that if elected president, he intends to be like a “father who needs to watch his son” or an “older brother” of Brazilians. According to him, the last months away from the debates on the networks has served to draw the political future.
“In recent months, I’ve avoided political positions. Why did I do it? Because I needed to have a look out because, as in my entire career, I base my opinions in the domain of information and on my huge yearning to be a guardian of the truth,” said YouTuber.
Among the youtubers, Felipe Neto was one of the main critics of former President Dilma Rousseff (PT) and later from former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL). In 2022, however, he became one of the main allies of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) in the petista campaign on social networks.
Neto became the narrator of an electoral insertion of the then PT candidate conveyed on the eve of the first round of the election: “While their weapons are pistols and rifles, our weapon is the vote,” he said in the propaganda. At the beginning of the Lula administration, YouTuber was allocated to a working group designed to combat hate speech.

In February this year, Felipe Neto announced that he would no longer deal with politics on his social networks. He even said he had “no intention to be a political” and had been directed to a “road where he never wanted to enter.”
In 2021, he denounced on social networks that he had been affiliated to the PT by hackers who sought to make a “fake news professional construction”. At the time, the party of Lula replied that he was “open doors” to receive the influencer on party paintings.
Also in the video released on Thursday, Felipe Neto said he will release a social network called “Nova Fala”. According to the influencer, the platform would be as a “ministry of truth”, where it would be possible to “understand the opinion of the majority about every moment of history.”

“At best, the new network would allow you to create a neutral government platform. Without any ideology, but a definitive and direct position of the people, whom I would only and humbly be a spokesman for the truth,” said Felipe Neto.
Felipe Neto’s announcement occurs the day before the ceremony that will launch Goiás Governor Ronaldo Caiado (Union), as a presidential candidate in Salvador (BA). Out of politics, like YouTuber, singer Gusttavo Lima in January, expressed interest in disputing the Plateau. Two months later, he stated withdrawal from the project.
Former Coach Pablo Marçal (PRTB) also announced being a presidential candidate on social networks. Betting on an aggressive campaign focused on the virtual world, Marçal took third place in the dispute for the City of São Paulo last year.
