Defense Ministers of the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic, Robert Kaliňák and Jana Černochová, stressed The importance of cooperation in the field of defense during a visit to the military training area Lešť. The Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic on the social network stated that their mutual cooperation is based on common history and strong relationships.

“Our common history, strong mutual relationships and common defense goals obliges us to continue to build even stronger and above -standard relations between our countries,” stated the ministry.

The military training area in Lest is currently also served by almost 200 Czech army, which are part of the Multinational Brigade NATO. They practice together with members of the armed forces from Spain, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, the USA and Turkey, while the Czech Minister of the Interior was visited on Monday.
