Prequel of the classic feature film “It – The Thing”the new series “Welcome to Derry” Won a new teaser this Monday (7).
Production will be set in 1960, years before the events of the first adapted film, “It – The Thing” (2017)and will tell the story of the origin of the clown Pennywise.
The Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård Returns as Pennywise in the series after living the clown in the cinema. The released images focus on new names for the cast of the story, such as James Remar (“Dexter”), Rudy Mancuso (“Music”), Taylour Paige (“Zola”), Jovan Adpo (“Operation Overlod”) and Chris Chalk (“Perry Mason”). The universe of “it” is based on the homonymous work of. In history, a group of children unites to investigate the mysterious disappearance of several young people in their city. They discover that the culprit is Pennywise, a cruel clown who feeds on his fears and whose violence originated several centuries ago.
It is scheduled to debut in 2025 on the HBO channel and the Max streaming service.
