The minister (and climate change) had to be hospitalized on Tuesday afternoon (15) after a discomfort during a working meeting in Brasilia. Marina, 67, had medical attention and underwent examinations, which ruled out the possibility of serious infections.
She was discharged early in the evening, according to information from the folder. By medical advice, the minister should remain at rest throughout Wednesday (16).
The minister had symptoms compatible with an unspecified viral condition, with gastric discomfort. Thus, he was taken to the Brasilia Hospital, where he remained for a few hours.
“After hydration and administration of medicines to relieve symptoms, it was improved by the general condition and was discharged earlier this night,” adds a note from the portfolio.
The minister has protagonism in the organization of COP30, the UN Climate Conference (United Nations). The event will be held in November in Belém (PA).
She also joined the entourage of President Lula (PT) last month.
