Vatican City/Vienna – Pope Francis died of the consequences of a stroke on Easter Monday. The stroke led to a coma and an “irreversible” failure of the heart, it was said in the Monday evening of the Pope published by the Vatican. The death of the spiritual head of the Catholic Church was officially confirmed by the head of the Vatican Health Authority, Andrea Arcangeli. Pope Francis died Monday morning at the age of 88.
