Podgorica-Lubjana Piovesana missed a medal at the Judo European Championships in Podgorica. The Wahl-Vorarlberg woman lost the fight for bronze against the Italian Carlotta Avanzato in the category up to 63 kilograms on Thursday. Piovesana had to give up in the Golden Score after 15 seconds with a Yuko classification and finished fifth.
