Earthquake 6.3 Richter in Ecuador

6.3 degrees struck the northwestern Ecuador today (25/4), the United States Geological Survey announced.

The earthquake, according to ERT, hit the Esmeralda border province, had a depth of 35 kilometers (22 miles) and occurred around 6:45 am. Local time (1145 GMT), with vibrations felt until the capital Kito.

There are no reports of victims or damage so far.
