Ceremony was held this Saturday (26.ab.2025); Lula, Trump and Macron participated, among others

World leaders were present at the Vatican to participate in Pope Francis’ funeral. The ceremony began at 10am places (5am in Brasilia). Brazil was representing by the President (PT), who was accompanied by the first lady, Janja Lula da Silva.

Also the presidents of the Senate, (União Brasil-AP), the Chamber, (Republicans-PB), and the Supreme Court (STF), Luís Roberto Barroso. The ministers Mauro Vieira (Foreign Relations), Ricardo Lewandowski (Justice), (agrarian development) and (human rights), as well as deputies, senators and advisor Celso Amorim.

Pope Francis’ death

Pope Francis at the age of 88 on April 21, (stroke), according to the Vatican. To the Italian newspaper Corriere della SeraPontiff’s doctor, Sergio Alfieri, about the last moments of the religious in life.
