Registered revenue from January to March reached US $ 3.4 billion – a 2.7% increase compared to the US $ 3.3 billion from the first quarter of last year.
According to the company, the result was influenced by demand in air transport. The company transported 20.96 million passengers in the period – a 3.6% increase over the same months of 2024.
In relation to the fleet, Latam closed the quarter with 348 planes. It is expected to end the year with 371.
In the first quarter, the consolidated capacity of the group, measured in okometer seats offered, grew 7.3%, driven mainly by an increase of 10.7% in international operations
Fuel costs decreased 4.9% over the same period of 2024, driven by a 9.6% reduction in the average aviation fuel price.
For the year, Latam said he expected an increase between 7.5% and 9.5% in 2025 in its global offer of seats compared to 2024. “It makes it very difficult to predict” expectations.
