Mayor traveled to the US hours before the presentation on Saturday (3.MAI) to promote project “Rio Capital of Artificial Intelligence”
The mayor of Rio de Janeiro, (PSD), published this Sunday (4.MAI.2025) a video generated by artificial intelligence in which appears singing alongside singer Lady Gaga. The material was shared on social networks hours after Paes leave Brazil towards the United States.
The image recreates the presentation of the song “Shallow” in the 2019 Oscar, originally played by Gaga and actor Bradley Cooper, with the face of Paes in the artist’s place.
“Okay! It’s going to keep it for me, but Criss (the only star of my life) released me to post exclusively! Everyone in Rio. The river in the world all. There’s no other thing. World record, headlines in all languages. Long live the river, the cariocas, the visitors, the Little Monsters and the Lady Gaga!”wrote in Instagram publication.
On Saturday night (3.MAI), Paes said he would not participate in the event. According to him, the trip to the United States aims to publicize the project “River Capital of Artificial Intelligence”. The script includes visits to cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington.
“Believe me if you want. I’m going to spend a week in the United States, I’m going to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, then Washington, selling this idea of the river capital of artificial intelligence.”said in a video posted on Instagram.
