The rocket attack was targeted to the International Airport in Tel Aviv. The attack was to support the Palestinians.

The Yemen’s insurgents of the Huses have been responsible for the Sunday missile attack on the Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel. They added that they attacked it as a sign of support for the Palestinians in the Gaza band, reports TASR according to the AFP report and CNN TV website.

“The rocket forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out a military operation focused on Ben Guriona Airport (S) by a hypersonic ballistic missile,” Húsi said in a statement. “The rocket has successfully hit its goal,” the insurgents added.

“The Yemeni Armed Forces will warn all international airlines against the continuation of flights to the Ben Gurion Airport because it has become dangerous for air transport,” the Húsi said.

Hamas praises the attack

The Palestinian militant Hamas attack on Sunday praised. “Yemen … It increases its attacks on the heart of an illegitimate Zionist entity, overcomes the latest defense systems in the world and accurately interferes with its goals,” the group said.

The Israeli army announced that the rocket fell close to the airport after “several attempts” failed to capture it. The Ben Gurion Airport temporarily suspended its operation after the attack, but has already resumed the flights.

“Everyone who attacks us will attack seven times,” said Defense Minister Jisrael Kac, CNN said.

The AFP source said on Sunday at 7 pm local time (18.00 CEST), the Israeli security cabinet is to be sitting. According to the source, the negotiations will be held in response to the missile insurgents and should also apply to the planned extension of the offensive in the Gaza Strip.
