A 6 -magnitude earthquake struck the Sulawesi area of Indonesia on Saturday, its Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Service said on the X platform, adding that there is no chance of a tsunami.
The European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) estimated that the earthquake was 5.9 degrees, at a depth of 109 kilometers.
There were no immediate reports of damage or victims.
