Between May 8 and 11, the return to celebrate one of the most emblematic gastronomic traditions of the region with the Caracol Party, which will take place at Espaço Volhas – Vila Adentro), in the heart of the historic center of city.
With free admission, the event takes place daily between 17:30 and 24:00, in a relaxed, outdoor environment, and with live music, children’s activities and a wide variety of gastronomic options.

Solidarily, the party’s mission is to support three IPSS of the parish, bringing together the community around an event that celebrates cultural heritage and the Mediterranean diet, with special highlight for the snail, a typical snack of the time and deeply rooted in the algarve identity.
The snail assumes the main role of the menu, being served in different traditional confections, which refer to flavors of other generations. But the party also includes several alternatives for all the tastes and dietary restrictions: street food, vegan and vegetarian options, hamburgers, pizzas, crepes, regional sweets, plenty, salads and varied drinks.

The initiative aims to value local products, give visibility to the traditional Algarve cuisine and promote family and intergenerational life in an iconic space in the city.
The Caracol Party invites Farenses and visitors to rediscover the authentic taste of the Algarve tradition, in an event that combines gastronomy, culture and solidarity in the heart of Faro.
