Civil Police prevented an attack planned by group that disseminates hate speech against people LGBTQIA+ on social networks
The team of American singer Lady Gaga said to The Hollywood Reporter who only learned of the threat of bomb at the show at Copacabana Beach, in Rio, through press reports on Sunday morning (4.MAI.2025).
The show, which had 2.1 million people in the audience, was held on Saturday (3.MAI.2025).
“We learned of this alleged threat through media reports this morning. Before and during the show, there was no known concern for security, nor any police or authorities to Lady Gaga about any potential risks. His team worked closely with the authorities throughout the planning and execution of the show, and all parties involved were confident of security measures implemented.”said the team.

A man, appointed as leader of the group, was arrested in Rio Grande do Sul for illegal possession of firearms and a teenager was seized in Rio de Janeiro for storing child pornography.
According to Rio police, the targets of the operation were on social networks, disseminating hate crimes such as self -mutilation, pedophilia and other violent content to demarcate the community. Computers were seized in the homes of the suspects.
As an unfolding, police officers went to a man’s house in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, to fulfill a search and seizure warrant against a suspect planning to kill a child during a live broadcast. The suspect will be responsible for crimes of terrorism and induction to crime.
