There is power in herbs
In traditional herbal medicine and its roots, each plant is seen as a potential source of healing. Sylwia Dominik emphasizes that many modern drugs are based on herbal lifts, and former herbalists observed plants and used them in full, believing in their holistic power.
Then the discussion is transferred to more magical aspects of plants, such as Mandragora, known from pop culture thanks. Sylwia explains that in ancient Greece, Mandragora was associated with the sorceress Kirka and the goddess of Hekate, and her root, reminiscent of human shape, gave her magical properties.

Another discussed herb is Dziedzierzawa’s Bickel, an ingredient that, according to legends, was to enable flights to the sabbath and character transformation. Sylwia suggests that the hallucinogenic properties of underwear could cause metaphorical “soul flights” and access to different states of consciousness.
There was also mention of poppy seeds, sleep symbol and death, often depicted in the cultures of the goddess of mothers. Kasia and Sylwia emphasize that these plants, although they could be used therapeutic, also carried the risk of poisoning and death, which associated them with witches and forbidden knowledge.
