Still the blackout: there were “technical constraints” that delayed the sending of many bills of collection by the tax authority.
The government extended until the end of June the deadline for payment of the Municipal Real Estate Tax (IMI) due to “technical constraints” associated with the “blackout” that delayed the sending of many bills by the Tax Authority (AT).
“Considering that these constraints made it impossible to submit a wide range of IMI collection notes, which is underway, the Government decided to extend, for all taxpayers, the deadline for the payment of the first installment of IMI or, if applicable, of the sole benefit of this tax until the end of June,” reads a statement issued today by the Ministry of Finance.
Due to the “temporary difficulties” registered in access to the Finance Portal, the government also decided to extend until June 16 the deadline for delivery by the companies of the IRC income statement (model 22).
Already on Tuesday, the government had the deadline for communication of invoices from April until tomorrow, Friday, after the report of the Order of Accountants regarding persistent failures on the Portal of Finance.
Additionally, the government also decided to “extend until 26 May the deadlines for the delivery of VAT declarations, regarding March, by taxables integrated into the monthly regime, and the 1st quarter, by taxpayers of the quarterly regime, and allow the payment of the respective VAT to be made until May 30, without any additions or penalties”, says the Ministry of Finance.
