Explosions were heard in the Iranian Central City of Isfahan, reports the Iranian state media.
The news comes shortly after Israel’s defense forces announce the beginning of a new wave of attacks in Iran.
The semi -official news agency said the city’s air defense system had been activated.
Isfahan houses Iran’s largest nuclear research complex, which has already been the target of Israeli attacks.
